Tara Pellicori is Of Counsel at DLA Piper LLP.

Tara Marie Pellicori is Of Counsel at DLA Piper LLP (US). She focuses her practice on the representation of corporate, institutional and individual clients on matters ranging from complex corporate finance to venture capital transactions, institutional and private equity financing in connection with mergers and acquisitions, and private placements, as well as private equity fund activities, as well as general corporate governance and developing and executing complicated strategic plans of corporate reorganizations.

Tara is a member of DLA Piper’s North American Pro Bono Committee and the nonprofit and social enterprise subcommittee. She has worked with Street Law since she was a student at Rutgers Law School – Camden in 2004. Although she has spent time in both public and private schools in underprivileged areas through the program, she is most passionate about working with youth in juvenile detention centers. In addition to serving as a member of Street Law’s Leadership Circle, she is a regular volunteer at the Burlington County Juvenile Detention Center in New Jersey, and loves the time she spends there. She truly believes that our juvenile justice system is too punitive and not rehabilitative enough, and hopes her work with the Street Law program is making a difference in improving the lives of a very vulnerable population.
