Biography

Tara Pellicori is Assistant General Counsel at Subaru of America, Inc.

Tara Pellicori received her undergraduate degree from Franklin and Marshall College is 2005 and her juris doctor degree from Rutgers School of Law – Camden in 2008.  She is a corporate attorney with a broad range of experience in the private representation of corporate, institutional and individual clients on domestic and multi-jurisdictional matters ranging from complex mergers and acquisitions, development and execution of complicated plans of strategic corporate reorganizations to strategic alliances and joint ventures (with a particular focus on international joint venture formation and management) and matters pertaining to general corporate governance.  

In 2019, Tara joined Subaru of America, Inc. and serves as the Company’s Assistant General Counsel.  In her role at Subaru, she is primarily responsible for Legal Enterprise Risk Management, Governance, Contracts, Telematics, and Dealer Franchise matters, and she is an active member of the Company’s Parents Group, Women’s Network and Corporate Responsibility Working Group.  Prior to joining Subaru of America, Inc., Tara was Of Counsel at DLA Piper LLP.  

She is also the founder and sole owner of LauncHER, LLC which is a New Jersey limited liability company that provides strategic business consulting and advice to start-up and early stage companies with a focus on women owned and led businesses. Tara currently co-teaches the Entrepreneurship Clinic at Rutgers Law School, serves on the Advisory Steering Committee for the Rutgers Center for Corporate Law and Governance, and has been a proud member of Street Law, Inc.’s National Leadership Circle since 2018 (and a Street Law volunteer since 2007).
