Ben Perdue is Street Law's Senior Director, International Programs.

Pronouns: he/him/his

Ben manages Street Law’s expanding portfolio of international rule of law and democracy education projects.

A former Peace Corps volunteer on a tiny island in Chuuk, Micronesia, Ben is keenly aware of the benefits that a global mindset can bring to people and organizations and is energized by working in international settings and with global partners. He is drawn to the mission-driven focus of nonprofit work, where success is measured not by the bottom line but rather by the impact made in the world.

Prior to coming to Street Law, Ben managed U.S. Department of State-funded international education initatives at Georgetown University. He holds a bachelor's degree in sociology from Colorado College and a master's degree in educational planning, economics, and international development from the University of London’s Institute of Education.

An avid travler, Ben has been to more than 30 countries. In his free time, he enjoys water skiing and wake boarding on nearby Lake Anna, and he plays on an intramural volleyball team with a group of fellow international development professionals.
