STREET LAW PROJECT COMPONENTS:

  • SECONDARY SCHOOL PROGRAM
    Under the Debate Center program, two books have been written. The books are designed for use in various community settings and has been well received across the country in youth centers. The secondary school book has been completed, field-tested and is being published. They have ministry support.

  • TEACHER TRAINING
    In the Kiev program, trainers (20) have trained classroom teachers (240) and education administrators (30). In addition, social workers and teachers have collaborated to deliver the Street Law program to students (500) in community settings.

  • LAW SCHOOL CLINICS
    The Debate Center staff participates in law school clinical training throughout the country and is a part of that movement. Among others, there is a thriving program in Donetsk, which has been supported through OSI New York funding and staff training through OSI Network program.
