STREET LAW PROJECT COMPONENTS:

  • SECONDARY PROGRAM

    The following five textbooks have been adapted, translated, reviewed by experts, the lessons field -tested and books published.

    · Mock Trial Teacher's Manual (100)
    · Human Rights for All Workbook (200)
    · Democracy for All Workbook (200)
    · We Can Work It Out! Elementary and Secondary (150&100)

    The National University Library will also register these books. Plans also include trying to get approval by the Ministry of Education for books to be used in the classroom as optional textbooks in Civic Education.
  • TEACHER TRAINING

    During summer and fall 2001, teachers will be trained and books distributed at seminars throughout the country. The training program will continue through educational institutions.
