Improving Diversity Through Pipeline Programs

NALP Launches Diversity Pipeline Initiative

July 1, 2008 During the 2008-2009 academic year, five NALP member law firms will be paired with local high schools to teach diverse and disadvantaged students about substantive areas of the law and about the legal profession and legal career pathways. Read more

Marriott Gives Back

April 1, 2008 The legal teams at Marriott International, Inc., and its subsidiary, Marriott Vacation Club International (MVCI), will be formally recognized this month for their contributions to the community. At its annual awards dinner, Street Law, Inc., will honor both legal teams for their continuing work with the Corporate Legal Diversity Pipeline Program. Read more

Teaching Advocacy and Making Change

March 15, 2008 Advisers of school-sponsored groups are no strangers to bake sales, car washes, food and clothing drives, and other fundraising activities to help those in need.
