Street Law / Publications / The Supreme Court: Documentary Film and Lessons
The United States Supreme Court has been the subject of intense drama, controversy, and debate throughout its long history. Now trace the workings of America's highest court and examine the key Justices who have shaped it. This illuminating series features some of the key cases defining the vision of the Court and the often explosive collisions between the Court and the presidency.
In 2007, Street Law, Inc. partnered with PBS affiliate Thirteen/WNET New York. The station created a documentary series—The Supreme Court— about the history and impact of the Supreme Court of the United States. Street Law developed educational materials to accompany the film including lesson plans, a discussion guide, and resources/links for educators.
The DVD set is available for purchase from the PBS online store.
