On Dec. 2, Street Law volunteers from across Chicago gathered to share insight and ideas about their Legal Diversity Pipeline programs and to celebrate another year of successful events for students. Street Law and ACC collaborated to put on the event, which was hosted by DLA Piper.
Participants discussed techniques for helping students who want to pursue legal careers - including offering interactive sessions on college and career planning, engaging content-based activities, and providing continued support to students. The group also met with partner teachers to get their feedback and discuss successes and possible improvements. The workshop was followed by a reception for networking and celebration of the area's existing Pipeline Program sites:
