The Deliberating in a Democracy program — an initiative of The Constitutional Rights Foundation Chicago (CRFC), The Constitutional Rights Foundation in Los Angeles (CRF), and Street Law, Inc. — promotes a teacher-based model designed to improve teaching and learning about controversial public policy issues and the skills of civic deliberation. The program’s lesson plans are available to all, free of charge, at the program's web site.
