Steve McClung, representing McGraw-Hill School Education Group and Street Law's board of directors, presents the 2010 Educator of the Year Award to Joseph Gutmann, a law teacher in Louisville, KY.

Each spring, Street Law, Inc. honors an exemplary law-related education teacher at the Annual Awards Dinner.  Potential nominees include classroom teachers, school resource officers, law students, lawyers, and professionals from community-based organizations and juvenile justice settings.

The 2010 Educator of the Year Award, sponsored by Glencoe/McGraw-Hill, will be presented at the Street Law Awards Dinner on April 28, 2010, in Washington, DC. 

Nominations Process

To qualify, educators must meet the following criteria:

  • Educate students in an exceptional manner
  • Use Street Law materials

The nomination deadline is Friday, February 5, 2010.  The recipient will be selected by a committee comprised of Street Law, Inc. board and staff members and will be notified by Friday, February 12, 2010
