Street Law / Trainings & Events / Application for Travel Reimbursement—Western Region
A limited pool of funds is available to reimburse travel to each of the faculty development seminars.
We encourage each community college to send a two person team to the seminar. An ideal team might include the professor who will teach the course (and, if a new course is needed, would champion the creation of the course) and a staff person (possibly from student services) who would coordinate the community learning component and also possible collaboration activities with nearby law schools.
A two person team is encouraged but not required.
Reimbursement is limited to $600 per person. If you are selected to recieve reimbursement for travel expenses, you will need to submit all proofs of these expenses, along with a reimbursement form, which will be supplied to you at the seminar.
In order to qualify for travel reimbursement, you must attend the entire seminar.
