Islam and Democracy: Toward Effective Citizenship
The Jossour - Forum for Moroccan Women, a Rabat-based organization, held a series of workshops in Meknes and Sidi Kacem for NGO leaders, university and secondary school teachers, university students, local and rural religious leaders, and businessmen.
The Center for Research and Human Development, a Casablanca-based organization, used the text with NGO leaders, university students, municipal government employees, and elected members of the local regional council.
