The Youth Educational Forum (YEF), organized in 1998 by former law students, participated in the Open Society Institute/Street Law Network Program from 1999-2002.

Currently, YEF provides informal civic and human rights education to high school students through a network of local offices. The group has extensive experience in educating about a range of social issues.  Its recent projects include educating about human trafficking, creating awareness about the issue of corruption in institutions of higher education, and publishing a manual for youth about their legal rights.

The Macedonia Civic Education Center participates in Street Law’s Deliberating in a Democracy program and coordinates the participation of four schools in Macedonia.  Visit the Republic of Macedonia section of the Deliberating in a Democracy web site to learn more.
