Megan Hanson

senior program director

Megan has worked for Street Law since 2004. She trains social studies teachers, writes curricula, and manages the Supreme Court Summer Institutes and Seminars. She also recruits, trains, and manages programs of companies, law firms, and law schools participating in Street Law's diversity initiatives. Megan graduated from Drew University, where she studied anthropology and human rights & social change. She has a M.S. in archaeology from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Supreme Court Summer Institute for Teachers

Since it began in 1995, the Supreme Court Summer Institute for Teachers has brought together over 900 teachers from across the country to convene in Washington, D.C., for six days of educational activities related to teaching about the U.S. Supreme Court.
