Wendy Ewbank

Wendy Ewbank is a social studies teacher at Seattle Girls’ School and teaches a social studies methods course at the University of Washington, where she is an adjunct professor of education. In an earlier life she was an award-winning film-maker. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she is currently the president of the Washington Council for the Social Studies. Wendy was a James Madison fellow in 2001, and the recipient of a Fulbright scholarship to South Africa in 2000. In 2004, she received the World Educator Award from the Washington State chapter of the World Affairs Council.
