Best Practices Workshop for Diversity Pipeline Programs—2014

Where The Fairmont, Washington DC
When April 23, 2014 - 4:00 -5:30 pm
Registration Open 7 March - 21 April 14

Join Street Law and our national diversity pipeline partners for our annual Best Practices workshop. You'll have the chance to meet and collaborate with other professionals participating in Diversity Pipeline Programs. Together, we'll work to generate program ideas, share and celebrate successes, and identify challenges and solutions.

Street Law's Diversity Pipeline programs are now active at more than 100 locations across the U.S.! Companies, ACC Chapters, and law firms are all participating in these programs, which are co-sponsored by the Association of Corporate Counsel and NALP. Legal professionals at firms across the country are delivering innovative and exciting programs to almost 4,000 students each year.

This workshop will provide an opportunity for these professionals to meet each other, network and collaborate about ways to conduct high quality programs.  The workshop will feature:

  • brainstorming components of web-based refresher trainings for new or returning volunteers
  • feedback from partner teachers
  • strategies for engaging students
  • ways to extend programming for highly interested students

(Find the workshop agenda under the resources tab, and other details under the registration tab.)

Celebrate successes with other participants and reinvigorate your program with new ideas!
