The New Press
For over twenty years The New Press has published books based on their merits rather than their commercial value. New Press books focus on underrepresented voices and new and neglected audiences. Like the Public Broadcasting System and National Public Radio, The New Press aims to provide ideas and viewpoints overlooked in the mass media.
A not-for-profit, public-interest publisher, The New Press commissions and publishes books on topics including criminal justice, education, national security, civil liberties, the environment, labor, racial justice, and immigration, aiming to promote and enrich public discussion and understanding of the issues vital to our democracy and to a more equitable world.
